This terrific pair of candlesticks was designed by Mikaela Dorfel, who is Finnish but lives in Germany, for Menu, a Danish design company specializing in “Scandinavian Design Originals.” Produced in a number of colors, this pair is a shiny, powder-lacquered black steel. I think they are really fabulous and lend themselves to a variety of display permutations. And, at just over a foot tall, they are super dramatic at the center of the dinner table! They come with a silver-toned metal insert and the original pair of (unused) candles.
Each measures 12 3/8" tall x 4" wide x 2" deep without candles. They are in very good vintage condition, with a couple of small dents (see last photo), and maybe some a bit of very light surface scratching, really only visible under very bright lights.
