These cheerful blue enamel kitchen canisters with wooden lids were produced by Valenti, Italy in the 1960s and have become fairly iconic. This set actually includes a bonus canister--for instant coffee--in addition to the four others that nest one inside the next: flour, sugar, coffee and tea. Around the perimeter of each canister, in alternating white and red stylized text (in relief) are the names of each product in various languages. Super striking in a bright white or mid-century style kitchen, but really pretty great anywhere.
These are in excellent condition, with a little wear to the wooden lids and a couple of spots of wear to the white enamel of their interiors, really minor. The largest (flour) canister measures 5 5/8" tall x 5 1/4" in diameter. Sugar: 5 1/2" t x 4 7/8" d. Coffee: 4 3/4" t x 4 1/8" d. Tea: 4"t x 3 1/2". Instant coffee: 3 7/8" t x 3 1/2"d.
