I’ll never pass by a Mexican folk art candleholder if I can help it, and this is a charmer, and an old one, of a great size. Three birds, three flowers, and a rainbow of colors, which are more pastel in tone than ultra bright; just right. There is a little paint loss: the central bird on the blue ball has lost a little paint on the wing (which one could I think pretty easily touch up if desired), there is bit lost on the blue flower, and there is a glaze chip below the flower on the right side--but in my opinion these are very much to be loved and used!
7 1/2” t x 6 1/4” w x 3 3/4” d. Aside from the bit of paint loss as described and pictured it is very good condition, no cracks or structural issues. Stamped Mexico on the reverse side and I believe c. 1960s.
