A fun one for the library, for the playroom, or for the studio, where it might inspire all sorts of things. The full title of this 1976 book is "Mexican Folk Toys, Festival Decorations and Ritual Objects," and indeed it covers lots of ground, including information about, and many pictures--both black and white and color--of all sorts of handmade toys and games, spiritual objects and the contexts in which they were/are traditionally used, and a month by month survey of traditional festivals and fiestas, and plenty more. The toys section is of course my favorite, filled with pictures of all sorts of wonderful, playful handmade things.
11 1/4" x 8 7/8"; 191 pages. Dustcover shows plenty of wear and tear, but book itself is in very good condition, with one one stain to the bottom left of the front cover and bottom right of the reverse, it looks like perhaps an old water stain, which shows up just a tiny bit on the inside, minor.
