Mesmerizing Old Tin Toy Spinner

I could sit spinning this one all day and never tire of the optical effect of its yellow and red swirls in motion. Of course it makes me think of Duchamp’s Rotoreliefs (Optical Discs) and Anemic Cinema - the best! —and also, it occurs to me, there is almost nothing that places one so much in the present moment as a kinetic optical illusion.

4” in diameter x 2 1/8” t.  Some surface rust but still bright and beautiful and works great. I've included a short video for your viewing pleasure!
