How nice to think of a young cherry tree growing from the heart of an ancient red cedar, and even nicer to have a photograph documenting its occurrence, annotated with an old hand-painted sign describing it in a matter of fact but inevitably poetic feeling manner. A cross between a sweet cherry and a sour cherry, the May cherry tree produces small, soft, bright red cherries with a tangy sweet flavor.
5 1/2" x 3 1/2", in very good condition, matte paper, unused back.
