Mary Baker's America Flag Crayon Drawing, 1917

This is one of several crayon drawings done by a Mary Baker, a couple of them signed, and one dated 1917, surely done when miss Mary was in grade school. It is evident she started drawing blue stars on this flag then gave up in favor of a blue square, and took some liberties in giving the flag alternating blue with red stripes too! I especially love that she has titled it "America Flag."

8 1/4" x 5 15/16" and in pretty good shape, with a couple small tears at top edge center and a fold to the bottom right corner.
