No totally my usual thing, but one of the thing this made me think of is all of the Victorian era images of young girls being saved by Newfoundlands or St. Bernards--and also my own dream of having a dog that is bigger than me! I really love the faces of these two side by side. together forming what feels a but like a wall of defense, continued by the vertical lines of the colorfully striped sofa. I'm not entirely certain the various printmaking processes involved in producing it, with some handwork in crayon, over top. Singed with with looks to be "Palmer".
8" x 10" on stiff/cardstock weight paper and in very good condition.
