Tall Man in Long Coat with Flags, Antique RPPC

Doctor? Scientist? Painter? Photographer? I'm not sure about that or about what might be going on inside this patriotically decorated building with door to the "Office" at left, but I like his slightly awkward stance, and what the flags and banners do to the face of the structure, and especially the vertical line that runs from the feet of our tall man all the way up to the tip of the flagpole with high flying flag. Just the right amount of off-center, with just a bit of a leafy tree creeping in at left and a view to what looks like a church in the distance at right.

5 7/16" x 3 12" and in very good condition.  Unused back.
