Magical Cloth Covered, Glass Topped Box with Layered Cut Paper Framing

I'm not sure what this box once housed or where it came from, but I find it quite a magical thing now, and am really sort of obsessed with it! The layers of pink and cream cut paper under the glass lid remind me of antique school girl valentines and paper dolls and woven hearts, and create quite a dramatic frame that suggests something truly spectacular should be housed inside. The sides of the cardboard box are covered in woven cloth, which is worn in a way that I find very beautiful and give a sense of its age.  The top lifts off easily and is pretty sturdy should one wish to hold some special treasure in it now, or to make a magical something just for it, to be viewed through the paper frame. Lovely.

4 1/4" w x 3 1/8" d x 2 3/8". Stable and sound and to my eye all the better for the wear. There is one area where the cloth has come a bit apart from the box around the top edge of one side; it could be easily repaired with a tiny bit of glue if desired. (I am happy to do, just ask!)
