A charmer of an old carved folk art piano, which I especially like for the hinged lid that closes it up like a box, concealing the keyboard and making it feel like a surprise treat to open!, and the gold painted sheet music rack that flips up, with heart-like top edge. Great faceted carving of the sturdy legs of the piano, too. All wood, stained and painted, with a lot of love. c. 1920s-40s I believe.
6 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" tall when closed; 5" t with lid open. Good condition, sturdy and sound, hinges in good shape and and stands squarely on its feet. General scattered wear and surface dings here and there, all of a piece with it.
