This is my favorite style of utilitarian Mexican folk pottery, "dripware," from Oaxaca I believe, c. mid 20th century, wheel thrown, hand-painted. I find a bowl like this every once in a while, and will continue to scoop them up whenever I do, joyful and great on the table or counter or anywhere.
6 1/2" d x 2" t. Very good condition, with one minor surface hairline visible when turned bottom side up, as documented, not running all the way through the clay.
