Really a sweet and lovely small seascape, found in Maine and I'd be willing to bet painted there, late 19th/very early 20th c. Soft blues and quite serene, but I love how the little boater with his paddles extended looks a bit as if spreading his arms to the sky--either calling for help or in wonder at the beauty all around him!
6 7/8" x 4 7/8". Oil on hand-cut academy board. Very good condition, uncleaned, just a little minor paint loss around the edges, not a bit detracting.
