I continue to search hard to bring good whimsies to you, and here's my whimsy find of the week: an unusual rattle, carved in the round, with nice long cage at the center holding two balls inside its six "bars", and then two Cheerio-like rattles at either end. Nicely done, with a nice warm dry patina, lovely.
8 3/4" l x 1" d. Very good condition, I might guess 2nd quarter 20th century.
