Though I haven't embarked on handling actual quilts, I've started really keeping an eye out for beautiful old applique quilt squares that would be lovely framed, or sewn onto something else--or perhaps one might collect a bunch and complete a quilt with them now. This one I believe is late 19th century and made of cotton flour sack type fabric, with the appliqued pieces I believe hand-dyed. All carefully sewn by hand with tiny stitches and in excellent condition.
17 1/2" w x 18" t and in very good condition, never used, no holes, stains or other issues.
