I've forever got an eye out for great old stools, which I think make the best pedestals for arranging other things atop, and lately all I want to do is arrange things in relation to other things! This one I found in New Hampshire (almost into Vermont), and is many times better in person, with graceful form and great proportions, old iron nails, and just the very very subtlest hint of a blue tinge to the stained/painted surface. 19th century I'm sure, and I might think earlier than later.
12 5/8" l x 6 1/2" d x 7 1/2" t and in very very good condition, sturdy and sound and lovely.
