The dealer who sold me this drawing and I agreed that this guy looks like he might be sitting in a Brooklyn cafe right about now, though well over a hundred years ago I believe. I especially like the very pointy toe of his heeled boot!
9 11/16" x 6 3/8". Graphite and charcoal on nature colored paper. One fine crease/crack in the paper showing as a fine line running horizontally just below his hand. Otherwise a little light spotting/fixing to upper background.
