The most excellent and full of life and roar carved and stained lion and lioness--who have made it thus far together, so together they must remain. The lioness is signed on the underside, looks like Jane Evans to me. The lion shows one repair to the tail and maybe to the right rear haunch (there is a carved incision, though seems it might be original to the making). Who cares, they are fabulous!
Lion with mane: 4" l x 2 7/8" t x 1 3/4" d. Lioness: 4" l x 2" t x 1 1/4" d. Repair to the tail of the lion as noted and documented, which I really don't find detracting.
