Willis Reed vs. Jerry West, Large Child's Marker Drawing on (Girdle) Board

Regular price $45.00

One of three marvelous drawings by a brilliant child dating to 1970, this one depicting a face off between Jerry West and Willis Reed, who appear willing to do pretty much anything to block one another from getting the ball. What a fantastic tangle of arms stretching in all directions, and then these two tiny players at lower left, I assume the little one trying to block 63 as he's about to pass or throw the ball in from the sideline. Done on heavyweight cardboard that was used to package a girdle, with a bonus drawing on reverse that wonderfully echoes the positions of the players on the front!

14" x 10 3/8". Very good condition. A few scattered stains, not at all detracting.
