In Advance of an Inked Spider, Early 20th Century Fun-Making Paper Print Snapshot

Those crazy Edwardians!  A fun one--which certainly seems to have been staged expressly in anticipation of its completion with the addition of an ink drawn spider dangling in front of the seated young woman reacting to its presence! I really like this from a conceptual standpoint--an image hinged on the addition of another element in another media to complete it, and also like imagining the conversation among these five friends as they staged it!
