So many antique school books to love. In the case of this 1880 copy of Greenleaf's New Primary Arithmetic, it is all about the graphics for me. How much more fun to learn to count when one is counting crossed umbrellas and raised hands and flying butterflies and buzzing bees. And that page of pears lined up neatly in incremental rows completely does it for me. Charming all the way through, photos give a representative sense.
6 3/4" x 4 3/4", 104 pages. General cover and spine wear from 140+ years of handling and a few tears to pages bit overall pretty good shape.
