Gathering at the Pool, Very Wonderful Hand-colored Snapshot with Bubble Gum Colored Swim Caps

Lots of photos today and this is my favorite. I know some people get really excited about hand-tinted photos; I am not usually one of them, but if I were to be converted, this is the one that would do it. And even more specially, these bubble gum colored swim caps! Perfection. This is a small photo, but the blue of that cap at left draws one like a magnet from a distance, and then great joys with close looking, including the great joy on their faces. And with a great combination of pure color on those caps, and more subtle tinting to the water (showing a subtle mix of pink and blue) and grass in the background, etc. Wonderful

 3 3/4" x 2 1/2". Excellent condition, reads crisp and clean and bright. C. 1950s or so I would guess.
