SOLD Fun and Fabulous Old Hand-sewn Velvet Faux-Jumper Clothes Pin Bag with Applique Flowers and Moon

Just perfectly executed, this totally charmed me, and I really sort of want to see it treated as an art object and hung on a white wall. I believe it was made for holding clothes pins--the bib flips up and there is a lined pocket there with room to hold a good handful. (Or a whole bunch of diaper pins, or many other little things too!) Velvet, with pale pink and cream satin applique flowers and (especially good) crescent moon, plus satin ruffle all the way around. 

11 3/8" x 8" widest. Very good condition, reads clean and bright, with wear and age really just visible on the pink fabric of the reverse side in the form of some scattered light stains
