This one is all about the whole package for me: the design of the box and that great yellow and the untouched rainbow colored chalk inside, with the shrink wrap tight around it holding the package just partially open so that color of those chalks can be viewed. I would treat it as a perfect found object and enjoy it exactly as found.
(The Weber Costello Company was a prominent American manufacturer of world globes, maps, and educational supplies, based in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Tracing its roots back to the 1890s, the firm became famous during World War II for producing massive 50-inch globes for President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill.)
4" x 3 1/4" x 5/8". Very good condition, with just a little colored dust (of the "dustless" chalk:)) held inside. C. 1940s-50s I believe.
