Elsie Zimmerman's Grackle (I believe!), c. 1930s School Watercolor

One of two watercolor birds by the same young Elsie Zimmerman whose watercolored color chart I've also listed today. I'll never say no a naive bird drawing of this sort--no fuss, just good, with a certain elegance and sense of resolve, too. I think this is a Common Grackle based on the combination of blue head, black body and yellow eyes. 

11 5/8" x 9 1/8", very good condition, c. 1930s.
