One of two watercolor birds by the same young Elsie Zimmerman whose watercolored color chart I've also listed today. I'll never say no a naive bird drawing of this sort--no fuss, just good, with a certain elegance and sense of resolve, too. I think this is a Common Grackle based on the combination of blue head, black body and yellow eyes.
