Earnest and Watchful Young Pilgrim!

Found digging through a huge old pile of photos, from which I plucked exactly one--pure delight to find this pilgrim, clearly meant for me! The costume, the setting, his expression, the branch he grips firmly as if staking his claim to the land--this young man was fully committed and completely in character, no doubt about it.

5 3/4" x 3 1/2". Good condition, just a little curling. C. 1940s or so I would guess.
