Oil on Board Painting of Kaiser Mountains in Kufstein, Austria

Not totally my usual thing, but this painting immediately took me back to hiking in the Alps some thirty years ago, capturing the mix of coziness and majesty that experience entailed. Quite nicely done in oil on Munchenaer Malpappe board and signed at lower left, with the location--Kufstein in Austria, with the Wilder Kaiser mountain range in the distance--and I'm not sure what all else written on the back, including perhaps the year, 1917? 

Sold in the frame I found it in, which shows a bit of loss to the black lacquered finish along the very. top edge and bottom right corner, minor. Framed: 13 3/8" x 10 7/8". Painting is in very good condition, 10 1/4" x 8".
