There are more complex and intricate stamp art collages out there, but I really love the clarity and elegance of this one, which incorporates a bit of watercolor for the stems, too. These look like red poppies to me, among my favorite flowers, and also a symbol of remembrance for WW1, which it seems this could well be, I believe dating to right around that time. And with the carefully cut out leaves reading at a glance as much like fragments of American dollars as they do 2 cent stamps, lending a different sort of resonance.
