This one has a wonderfully warm presence, much better in hand, but it is the mirror that makes it especially great, with the carve out not quite a perfect oval, lending a great sense of life to it. The framing around the edges of that mirrored top are really excellent too, lending a sense of gravitas to it as well as sturdiness. With cigar box wood used for the drawers and backing, as shown, and what appear to be all original brass pulls on the drawers. Sweet and proud feeling thing, c. late 19th century I believe.
11 1/2" x 8 3/4" x 2 7/8" d. Good overall condition, sturdy and sound, great patina, drawers open smoothly and close tight and square. Repairs to the back two feet via a mix of glue and nail as documented--not noticeable from front facing view. A few small flaws and general aging to mirror itself, also as shown.
