Super rare to find, and no wonder—who would ever part with one of these gorgeous things? This trifold showing 60 color samples (11 of them lost over time) of Windsor & Newton water colors with names and grade of permanency was clearly much referenced (surely hung--and rehung-- in a studio or art department, or perhaps in-store), with many sets of pin holes at the top corners. The samples are on individual strips of paper adhered to the card-weight brochure. Delicious.
10 1/2 x 8 7/8. Overall fairly good condition, with 11 samples missing, pin holes at ll corners, and small losses at bottom corners and a fold to bottom right corner. Color all the richer in person.
