I feel like the man in red with arms crossed on this one would make a great tattoo, and perhaps the bird on reverse, too! Harder and harder to find these sorts of drawings, this one done by Henry Hagy of Lancaster, PA, who signed it on the bird side in the same red ink he used to annotate the drawings in fancifully dotted cursive, best of all the matter of fact "This is a Horse Head." There are a couple of stains and one can see through a bit to the drawing on reverse, but to me, pure joy.

8 3/8 x 6 11/16”, crayon and ink on lined paper.
