I found this standing magnifying glass buried deep in the basement at the estate sale of an avid collector (approaching hoarder) especially of Victoriana. I don't think it's especially old, but I can just picture him sitting at his work table using it to examine and perhaps tinker old watches, stamps, toys and much beyond. It's a useful one, with screws at three different points for precisely adjusting the height and angle of the lens, all of which work great, and heavy enough to be stable but easy to move around.
Very good condition, with light aging to the brass. Black felt on the underside of the base. 12 7/8" tall when fully raised; 4" wide; base has a diameter of 3 1/4" d.
