The soft tonality/underexposure of photo very much enhances it for me, making it feel dreamy and a bit romantic--and perhaps our farm boy here in his half unbuttoned overalls and rolled up shirt sleeves is having romantic dreams of his own as he hangs up (and looks a bit as if fondling) the stockings! Hard to beat an image of laundry hanging out in the breeze, really. Lovely.
