The inkwash shadows here really make this watercolor, giving it the feel of a momento mori. And very finely painted feathery-spiky purple flowers, almost like thistles but I believe Blue Ageratum. Quietly, delicately, moody in a lovely way.

 8 7/8" x 5 1/2". Very good condition.
