I'm always on the hunt for beautiful brushes, but this is the first quite like this I've come across, late 19th century I believe, with beautifully shaped turned and black painted wood handle and natural bristles at the end. Useful for brushing crumbs or whatever off the table, but lovely enough just to hang from a ribbon on the wall.
The bristles are in perfect condition; some wear and aging to the handle including a few dings to the wood here and there, as pictured. 8" long x 1 1/4" widest diameter of handle; bristles measure 2" across.
