I really wish I had other works by the Betty Groose (or similar), who made this in Miss Adams' classroom, grade school I would guess. It's almost as if she was anticipating the digital age, dividing the cat into pixels, though seems more likely she might first have taken a stab at it using graph paper, and then recreated it free hand--much better with the squares getting a little wonky here and there. Just great.
9 13/16" w x 7" t x 1/4" d. Crayon on wood. Some dryness/cracking to the surface but overall good condition and wired on the back for hanging.
