Yesterday was my day for finding wonderful and unusual old pin cushions, this and twelve sided one I just listed found in New Hampshire. The leather on this one is soft and just beautifully aged, and makes me want to just carry it around in my hand. The center appears to have been hand-woven, with a dark green/brown thread showing on the exterior, with the leather sewn to either edge. It seems possible that this could be Native American, but I'm not certain. Whatever the case, it is definitely old, and just lovely.
1 3/4" in diameter x 7/8" t and in very good, sound and sturdy condition.
