This is the second box of Old Faithful "Sterling" chalk I've found, and I'll keep buying them when I found them, as much to look at as to use. Though not quite as fine as the American Crayon Company's "Waltham" chalk, sold for just "a trifle more" as noted on one side of the box, it's pretty fabulous chalk--definitely incentive to find an old slate chalkboard if one doesn't have on already. I especially love the gently tapering shape with rounded tip at one end. This box is marked as "Yellow Enamel" chalk; that yellow tone is very subtle--for the most part they look pretty white to me.
I'll do my best with packing to see that these arrive safely and in tact. Chalk and box in very good condition, with a small loss to the top edge of the box at one end such the slide lid is not completely tight. Box measures 6 1/2" l x 4 3/8" w x 3 7/8" t. Chalk pieces 3 1/4" l.
