Some wear on this, but this quintessentially Art Deco image of archeress and greyhound at the center of the lid, and the black and brown border around the lid, too, are so good I didn't think twice about it. The underside of the lid is marked Eaton's Arroweave, which I believe indicates it once housed fine stationary. Great now for stashing special letters--and/or trophies of the hunt, so to speak! C. 1920s I believe, heavy weight cardboard covered in heavy weight paper.
8 3/4 x 6 13/16 x 4 3/8” t with lid on. Structurally sound and very striking, with some staining and general wear as evident and detailed.
