As I always say, I will never tire of these; each time I find a beautiful old box of them I fall in love all over again. This is a luxuriously large early set, made by the Embossing Co. (Albany, NY), 81 blocks in their original wooden box bottom, and with a custom made wood and cardboard lid to boot. (The original cardboard lid is still here too, split in half but handy for all of the suggestion designs the underside provides.) With the most beautiful dark blue and super rich yellow paint that characterizes the early iterations of these. As good as it gets.
Box: 11 1/4" x 11 1/4". Cubes measure 1 1/4" cubed. Very very good condition, with essential no paint loss. Original bottom, and custom top in great shape. Original cardboard top included as well, which is divided in two parts.
