Batter and Catcher Watching Ball (or UFO!), Transcendent Old Snapshot Photo

I really really love this little snapshot. For me at least, it took a few moments to figure out that it is a catcher's mask and glove in the hands of the child at center, and the very end of a bat in the hand of the boy in the foreground, and so it must be a ball in the air that their eyes are following, though they appear to be looking in somewhat different directions for it! But between the framing and the light, and their faces and gestures and caps, it feels as much as if they're looking heavenward for enlightenment--or toward a UFO arriving on earth! To my eye and sensibilities quite poignant and really rather transcendent.

3 3/4" x 2 3/4" and in very good condition, glossy surface.
