In addition to the very native New England combination of baked beans and turkey, what really sold me on this sign is the red lettering against weathered gray on the beans side, looking quintessentially Down East Maine to me, and as if battered by wind and perhaps some sea-spray too, which I think is very likely the case! I also just like the idea of having a sign that says Turkey, whether as a descriptor (of the person, say, who might be sitting below it), or just to announce Thanksgiving dinner!
24" x 6" x 7/16". Much weathered surface, as evident, but in good structural shape and not flaking.
