Funny how a series of wavy painted lines and dabs in just the right red transform a plaster slab into what could only be taken for bacon--and there's just something about bacon. To eye rather a beautiful object too, which I believe was made for butcher shop display, c. 1940s or so.
7 1/2" x 2 7/8" and in great condition. With a partial stamp on reverse, with Cincinatti, Ohio readable.
