Artist Made Cast Bronze Breasts!

I found this (these!) in the Hudson River Valley, and know from the dealer's note that they came from the estate of an area artist, but I don't know that artist's name. With the bar connecting them across the top (which makes for easy hanging), the first thing I thought when I saw them was of old optometrist signs in the form of spectacles, which has the great effect of conflating the nipples here with the pupils of the eye and imparts the sense that they might just be staring back! I also love that the two breasts are quite distinct from the other, making them feel real rather than idealized:)

4 11/16” w x 2 1/8” t x 1 1/4” d and in great vintage condition. Solid bronze.
