It's hard to pass a by a pretty, old painter's palette when I see one, so I usually don't! This one isn't thickly caked in paint, but there's enough to make it lovely, and in this case I think it's nice to see the dark wood of the palette itself. There is a hairline split coming up from the bottom a couple of inches, but hang it on the wall and you would never notice it.
12 7/8 x 8 3/4 and in good condition. There is a detail photo of the split, which is stable and doesn't make this delicate. Early 20th c. I believe.
