A small but lovely antique cut and woven paper love token, which I especially love for those very carefully cut tiny spikes all around the perimeter, as if a bit protective of the heart itself! 19th c. I believe and surely made by a school girl, or perhaps a teacher given the manual dexterity required!
2" t x 1 13/16" w, good condition, no losses, a bit of toning as evident.
