Antique Handmade Valentine: To Frank from Emily (Look Inside!)

Yesterday I came across a bunch of old handmade valentines, including this one, filling me with total joy. This may be my favorite of the lot--a bit unassuming on the outside, though with this lovely scalloped edging, but then inside 4 hearts for our dear Frank, who I'm very sad seems never to have chosen one to give back to our Emily, who clearly expended a great deal effort on him! Another one that makes my heart ache.

5 3/4" x 3 3/4" closed. C. 1900 I believe. Some wear as evident but who cares?
