Antique Handmade Folded Paper Bookmark with Ink Drawn Bear

A lot of love and care went into making this bookmark, folded and cut from card weight paper and tied with a ribbon on the back, with hand-done gold edging and lettering  and a curious ink drawn bear--who looks quite a bit frightened and very self-protective!-on front. Cleverly designed to fit over the corner of a page or section of pages, making it a good one for marking the next chapter of a bedtime story.

5 1/6” x 3 1/4” and in very good condition. Late 19th/very early 20th c I believe.
