I am not sure if this was once the head on a Santos, or doll, or some sort of mannequin or what, but I think it is pretty fantastic, and all the better for the toll time has taken, resulting in the loss of a portion of the outer shell on the face. The effect is to make him (I believe) appear as if a clown or thespian midway in the process of removing his makeup--and baring his true self! To my eye quite a beautiful thing.
3 3/8” t x 1 1/2” w x 2 1/8" d and sits up straight on its own. Very good structural condition, sound and stable now, not chipping.
