The more time I spend with this jointed figure, crafted I'd think a century and a few decades ago from cigar box scraps, the more I love it--and actually even more so I think for it's missing leg, the absence of which to me at least makes it's gestures feel rather more poignant. I especially love the effect of the old labels on the wood, very worn in some areas and not much in others, making for wonderful painterly surfaces. Plus a great pencil drawn face on the both sides.
11" t x 2" wide (across at belly). It will sit or kneel on its own in various positions. There are holes at the ends of the arms which could also be threaded to hang. Beside the missing leg, it is in good, stable antique condition.
